“Gone too long” expresses the yearn to revive sensitivity and communication with a close friend or person one may have lost touch with. Time and distance factor into the silence of separation; however, if and when the moment comes to unite again, there could be a stuttering, tentative approach to find the groove one once had with the other. Furthermore, we hope to listen without judgement, communicate honestly, and physically and emotionally use our muscle of trust to pick up the conversation wherever it was left off with openness.
